Burdette L Barth, 88, stepped into the presence of the Lord on September 28, 2019. Burdette was born on September 27, 1931 in Beaver Crossing, NE. His family moved to Oakdale, CA when he was 9. He attended Pasadena College for the music program where he met his beloved wife Dottie (Dorothy). Burdette was a Chevron Dealer in Modesto, CA. He and Dottie raised their family while attending Trinity Nazarene Church, where he served as choir director. After many years they moved the station to Oakdale, CA, and attended Oakdale Nazarene Church, where he served as choir director. Upon retirement Burdette and Dottie moved to Murrieta, CA, where they attended Gateway Nazarene Church for the past 17 years. Burdette’s faith in God was ever present and evident through his daily life. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, was a student of God’s word and music. His gift of bringing laughter and a smile to anyone he met was contagious. He loved unconditionally, with grace. Burdette’s heart for God proved faithful and constant through the good times and dark times. He will always have a special place in our hearts as he was loved dearly. He is survived by his wife Dorothy of 68 years, 2 daughters: Lavonne Langley & Lynnette Strong (Ernie) and son: Charles Barth (Rachael); 9 grandchildren: Michelle Langley, Eddie Strong (Roset), Shannon Tauscher (Sean), Vanessa Strong, Jacob, Josiah, Jaelyn, Jonah & Jeremiah Barth; along with 5 great grandchildren: Ayden & Addison Tauscher, Addy & William Strong and Olive Barth; brother: Gene Barth, sister: Bea Owens (Ray), sister in law: Loralie Barth.
